RAW TUNA ON THE CHUNK

  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped shallots
  • 2 tablespoons mayo
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoons hot chili paste ( we use a tablespoon)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon wasabi
  • 1 lb. fresh tuna, cut into quarter inch cubes
  • 1/2 avocado, cut into half inch cubes
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped cucumber
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • black sesame seeds
 



 In a bowl, combine shallots, mayo, honey, chili paste, sesame oil, soy,
and wasabi. Gently fold in tuna, avocado and cucumber. Season with salt
and pepper. Refrigerate. Serve on top of field greens that has been
coated with the sesame/ginger salad dressing you can by in the
supermarket, sprinkle with the black sesame seeds.

Store bought tuna does not work for this. Enjoy
