Stephen L. Vanderveer Trophy Bowl

Largest Tuna, Jones Inlet. To win this trophy the member must have sailed out of Freeport L.I (Jones Inlet) and must weigh the Tuna on the official scales at the club official weighing station, and must not enter any other port. The minimum weight accepted on this trophy is 100 lbs.

The Barry Simon Memorial Captain's Award

Awarded to the captain who achieves the highest number of points for Cod, Blackfish and Sea Bass caught aboard his vessel. Points are awarded for the 1st (5 pts.), 2nd (4 pts.), 3rd (3 pts.), 4th (2pts.) and 5th (1pt.) largest fish caught for each species. A member captain may submit two weight slips for each species and must be aboard his vessel when the fish is caught. The boat must leave and return from Jones, Fire Island or Debs Inlet. The angler need not be a member.
